Introduction

The machine was inspired by Mark Setrakian's creation "Axis" (https://youtu.be/EfQ6ygf7QE4?si=yGbl1xAK32biSIvo). The main difference is that my machine is purely mechanical(no motors or electronics). The movement is controlled by three CAM profiles, one for each joint of the arm. The machine can either be driven manually with a crank handle or automatically with the help of a gravity battery, in this case a 20kg weight.
